🔐 How secure is Innerly?
Your journal is end-to-end encrypted—meaning only your devices can read your entries. Not even Innerly or Apple can access them. We never see, store, or share your content.
⛓️ What is end-to-end encryption?
End-to-end encryption utilizes a private key to encrypt all entries before they reach Innerly servers. With possession of the encryption key stored locally on the device (and securely in iCloud), maximum security is assured for journal data.
🌙 Can I use Innerly offline?
Yes! Innerly’s AI features, including reflections and insights, work fully offline—no internet required. Your data stays on your device.
🤖 What does the AI do?
Innerly’s AI can help you: • Identify patterns in your thoughts • Suggest journaling prompts • Offer insights like mood trends or cognitive distortions
You choose what insights you want—Innerly never pushes anything on you.
💾 Will my entries sync across devices?
Yes! Innerly securely syncs your encrypted entries across all your iOS and macOS devices. Your data remains end-to-end encrypted, and no one—not even us—can read it.

Innerly offers a free plan with core features, and a premium plan for advanced AI insights and more. You can upgrade anytime.
🗑️ Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your journal entries or your entire account at any time. When you do, your data is permanently erased from our servers.
